Official opening ceremony of Sam Dong Europe took place on the 18^th of June 2018. Many of our valuable business partners and friends were invited for this special occasion.

It was a great moment to welcome them all in Sam Dong first European factory, which was established in response to our business partners’ high demand of Sam Dong CTC (Continuously Transposed Conductors) and PCW (Paper Covered Wire) great quality products.

The investment in the new production plant in Poland was officially approved at the end of 2015 and it took only two and half years to accomplish this successful project in the heart of Europe. The President and the CEO of Sam Dong, Mr. E. J. Lee, who had founded the company in 1977, was pleased to host a many guests who arrived to this Grand Opening Ceremony in Kostrzyn nad Odrą. Mr. E. J. Lee expressed his proudness and admiration towards all employees whose hard work and commitment marked  Sam Dong’s presence on the 3^rd continent.

This unique ceremony was also a great opportunity to our VIP guests to emphasize strong business connections and long-term partnership between Sam Dong and their companies. The ceremony gained much interest among local authorities and the entire community.

After the official part of the Grand Opening Ceremony, our quests had opportunity to take part in a factory tour, during which they were presented the following process and areas:

• flattening process
• enamel coating area
• CTC production process
• Quality department and paper slitting department.

Thanks to our new factory in Poland we are looking into a bright future, knowing we will be able to follow new trends and high expectations of all our customers. Sam Dong Europe is well known for its stable manufacturing process and high quality policy.

After a successful certification audit in the middle of March 2018, Sam Dong Europe was certificated by TŪV Rheinland for both ISO 9001:2015 (quality management) and ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management).
